I talk a lot about the King, Warrior, Lover and Magician.
I refer to them alot because it’s easy to SEE AND IMPROVE OUR PATTERNS AND BEHAVIORS.
Within each of these archetypes there are strengths, weaknesses, and darkness’s.
One of them being the HERO…
The DARK SHADOW of the Warrior is referred to as the ‘HERO’
This person was me 8 years ago. I had a dark shadow
In my main demo video I talk about not getting clients all month long and reaching an all-time low of sadness and I almost quit this industry.
It’s because I was stuck in the altered state OR DARK SHADOW of the HERO.
Which talks like… or thinks like… this consciously or unconsciously..
I CAN DO IT BY MYSELF.
I’M BETTER THAN YOU ARE.
I ALREADY KNOW ENOUGH.
I DON’T NEED HELP AND IF I DO IT MEANS I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH OR I’M WEAK.
THERE IS EVEN ANGER OF WANTING TO PROVE SOMEONE WRONG.
IT CAN EVEN LEAD INTO ARROGANCE THAT PUSHES PEOPLE AWAY.
The HERO carries sometimes with them a unhealed version of the MAGICIAN.
This version of the warrior will never get results and IF THEY DO it comes with a shit load of exhausting work.
Luckily I was able to reflect internally really quick and get help from others instead of trying to do it on my own.
A TRUE WARRIOR knows they can’t fight for their purpose by themselves.
They know that the strength of a team of friends, peers, and people with the same purpose only strengthen the warrior.
A TRUE WARRIOR knows they need the help of other warriors who have won other battles.
A TRUE WARRIOR attacks…but not blindly. They have strategy.
A TRUE WARRIOR embraces his king.
I see the dark shadow of the warrior in the coaching industry… in different ways…
-Thinking they know everything and silently suffering on the outside while drowning with anger and sadness on the inside.
-Not starting in coaching/training because they are afraid of failing. If you don’t try you never fail.
-They are quick to poke fun of others efforts or way’s of being.
-They constantly boost their ego by claiming they know things already and pointing out others weaknesses.
-I see coaches losing time and money by fighting dumb or purposeless battles that usually revolve around getting followers, likes, comments. (It’s a deep human behavior of wanting significance)
-I see them even making excuses on why they are quitting (saying it’s logical) and going into another business.
I steer clear of these people. They will fight you to the death. In most cases they need a very grounded lover who is close to them to help overcome the shadow or some life cycle that gives them humility.
UNTIL they are ready to open themselves to themselves and to the world they will continue an exhausting and painful cycle.
When they come to face themselves and look at their truth they will find healing and peace while still able to get thing done and slay their goals.
When they look into their darkness… they will find light and TRUE CONFIDENCE.
But the biggest thing is when they reach for others around them and let them be apart of what their accomplishing.
We must all realize we have shadows. It is scary sometimes. But what is even scarier is avoiding to look at it in the first place.
Looking at our potential darkness or potential negative traits doesn’t enhance it…
IT IMPROVES IT. Looking at your bills doesn’t hurt you…it helps you.
Self-Awareness is the key to transformation. When I looked at my self I was able to make the change necessary to get results and embrace my TRUE WARRIOR.
Every next level of my life requires me to be open for help towards my goal with people who know the battle field. Not just talk about it or claim they know…people who have actually been in it.
I know when I close-up and protect myself I hurt others.
Be open to the world.
Be Inspired. Be Strong.
The World Needs You.
