I am NOT Perfect

I am not perfect. Neither Are you.

Being a coach over the years I’ve learned 1 thing very well.

Everyone has their shit they don’t show.

I mean why would you?

Why would you post yourself crying?

Why would you post yourself fighting in a relationship?

Why would you post about all the money you just lost?

Does it mean your fake?

No.. I’m pretty fucking sure that’s real shit we all do.

And

We all go through it.

Me included 🙋🏻‍♂️

I’m pretty fucking sure you would do the same thing and not dump your garbage onto someone else or all over Facebook. (Although I see some people do)

You see what you think is a perfect relationship, business, or body…but what you don’t see is the day-to-day things that they’ve had to go through to get there

You see the light. Not the dark.

No light exists without darkness.

I never want to be put on a pedestal of being this perfect person.

I don’t want to be perceived as always having my shit together.

I want to recognized for fucking up a lot but still having the internal strength to overcome any obstacle.

Things need to fall out of place sometimes to come back into place.

You don’t see it. But it’s there… in all of us at some point in time.

So my message is don’t put anyone on a pedestal of being perfect and to stop holding yourself to unrealistic levels.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to progress.

We have our own skeletons in the closest.

Its not meant for everyone to see. It’s meant to find ways to dump that trash in a healthy way.

I’ve learned not to judge people for their skeletons because I have many of my own.

I look at them.

I accept them.

I work through them.

I move past because there’s no since in shaming them or yourself. It only makes it worse.

You don’t have to be perfect to be successful as a coach, dad, friend, or anything you do in life.

I accept that I make mistakes.

Just because I do doesn’t mean I can’t be successful.

I can still run a successful business.

I can still have great relationships.

I can still love my body.

But I choose to be progressive in things.

I continually accept myself and the choices I make.

I love myself the most.

As I hope you can love and accept your imperfections too.
