Within the coaching field I’ve noticed there’s 3 distinct layers or identities. 👀
It takes one to know one for sure too! So I’m coming from a place of absolute love. 🙏🏼
The first one is the coach that goes into coaching for nothing other than significance.
Which is an evolutionary need… SIGNIFICANCE.
We want to feel valued. We want to feel appreciated. We want to be seen and heard.
In other words we want to feel IMPORTANT.
At this level they subconsciously push people away. They struggle making an income. They get frustrated easily.
Unless they evolve to the next level they never make it.
Secondly, is HAPPINESS. They are coaching because it makes them happy. They feel strength from doing it. This version is able to make an income that sustains them.
HAPPINESS is receiving. They are progressing forward in their goals. But this version doesn’t burnout. They become empty once they hit a certain mark in the business.
Two things happen at this level.
The first thing is they continue feeling empty and just keep following along. Or they decide to give up the coaching and find some other job that is not so taxing emotionally. IF THEY DONT EVOLVE.
The third level which we all must seek for is FULFILLMENT.
FULFILLMENT IS NOT DOING IT TO BE SIGNIFICANT.
ITS NOT DOING IT TO RECEIVE.
FULFILLMENT IS GIVING YOUR HAPPINESS, GIFTS, & STRENGTH TO THE WORLD.
This person does not care how many likes a post gets.
They don’t care how many people receive or kick their gift to the dirt.
They do it because it is who they are and it is their divine purpose in life.
By default. The coach who focuses on this will become happy and receive strength. They will also feel significant. It naturally occurs.
Tony Robbins once said, “The core problem of every person that is suffering is based around their ability to give.”
When we are giving our gifts and strengths that we have received it will come back give back. But thats not intention. It is only to give. The entire goal of receiving is so they can continue to give.
When we are operating from a place of fulfillment we are open. When we are open new opportunities open themselves to us.
The greatest coaches operate from this level. The coaches who make the most money operate from this level.
To be extra vulnerable I have experienced all three across my career. Most of the time I was unconscious when I was.
But now I know giving is where true bliss is experienced.
I know as you continue to focus on giving your gifts…with no under lying motive everything will work out.
I truly believe most all coaches operate from this level. Otherwise they wouldn’t be still doing it. It’s just too hard.
